Using Parsec to connect to your Simplay PC opens up a host of new platforms to use Simplay from - like Macs, Linux, Raspberry Pi and even Android devices!
After you complete the initial set up, you could use the client area to turn your Simplay PC on, and connect straight from Parsec. However, you do need to set Parsec to start and auto-login whenever your Simplay PC boots up. Here's how to do it:
Step by step guide
Step 1: Edit Group Policy
From your Simplay PC press Start, and search for "edit group policy".
Step 2: Access "Logon Properties"
Access "Logon Properties" by clicking: User configuration -> Windows settings -> Scripts -> Logon.
Step 3: Add new script
click "Add" to open the "add new script" window.
Under script name, use the following:
And then click "OK".
Step 4: Move the script up
Move your newly created script up, so it's the first one to launch when your Simplay PC boots up.
That's it, you're all done!
From this point on, Parsec would start and auto-login when your Simplay PC boots up. this means you could use the client area and the Parsec streamer to connect to your Simplay PC from any Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi or Android device!
